OUR MINISTRIES
Butterflies of Hope/sewing circle
A group of local women get together and make quilts to be donated as needed. Many quilts are donated to help local families, individuals and homeless as well as those in need due to disaster/fire/flood.
Prayer Bears
We collect new or gently used stuffed animals who sit in our pews and get blessed by prayers, praise and worship. We attach a tag, and then give to someone in need of a reminder that someone loves them.
Benevolent/Big hearts fund
Benevolent/Big Hearts Fund has assisted numerous families and individuals in the area.
These teddy bears sit in the pews at Forest Baptist Church. Feel free to stop in to the church and pick one up to give to someone in need who is ill, or just needs a little reminder of God's love!
Each bear says:
This bear has been blessed as it has heard scriptures read, hyms sung, and prayers prayed. It comes to you as a special reminder of God's healing and wonderful love!
